资源简介:
The Normalized Cyclone Vulnerability Index (NCVI): CS/SCS (All Intensities) dataset, available on the India Meteorological Department's (IMD) Hazard Atlas website, provides a categorized assessment of cyclone vulnerability across regions based on historical data from 1961 to 2020. The index measures vulnerability on a scale from 0 to 1, with categories defined as Nil (0), Low (>0 to <0.25), Moderate (≥0.25 to <0.5), High (≥0.5 to <0.75), and Very High (≥0.75 to <1). This annual dataset integrates information on cyclonic storms (CS) and severe cyclonic storms (SCS) of all intensities, offering a standardized tool for understanding and comparing regional risks to cyclone impacts over a six-decade period.
