Santa Catalina Island Rocky Intertidal Monitoring Data from 1994 to 2007

Data were collected every year in spring and fall from 1994 to 2007 at Bird Rock and Little Harbor in replicated fixed plots. Percent cover of target species and associated core species was assessed by point-contacts from photographs (photoplots) and in-situ (transects). The purpose of the data was to evaluate seasonal and long-term abundance trends for comparison among over 80 other regional sites throughout California associated with the Multi-Agency Rocky Intertidal Network.
