Sociodemographic and Psychometric Dataset on Anxiety and Depression in Student Populations

This dataset combines sociodemographic information and variables related to the assessment of anxiety and depression in a student population. It was designed to support epidemiological and psychometric analyses aimed at identifying factors associated with mental health in young people. The file includes participants' sociodemographic characteristics, such as age, sex, occupation, marital status, type of financial support, and other indicators relevant to the social and academic context of the assessed population. It also contains responses obtained through psychological screening instruments for anxiety and depression, along with numerical response coding, cumulative scores, and corresponding severity levels. The organization of the dataset enables descriptive, correlational, and comparative analyses between sociodemographic variables and emotional symptomatology, facilitating its use in research on mental health, psychosocial risk factors, student well-being, and the validation of diagnostic tools. All records have been anonymized to protect participant confidentiality.
