Gene expression data from healthy controls and atopic dermatitis patients skin

We identified zinc-alpha-2-glycoprotein (ZAG), a 41-kDa adipokine that regulates body weight, lipid, and mobilization, as a novel biomarker for AD. ZAG levels were consistently decreased in sera, T cells, and skin in human AD patients compared with healthy controls. We used microarrays to obtain the data of expressions of ZAG between human healthy controls and atopic patients skin. Human skin samples were obtained in accordance with a protocol approved by the Yonsei University College of Medicine Institutional Review Board (4-2013-0624).
