Data Sets for Evaluation of the Psychometric Properties and Validity of the German Version of the Černis Felt Sense of Anomaly (ČEFSA)

Data files relate to an investigation of the psychometric properties of the German Version of the Černis Felt Sense of Anomaly (ČEFSA) . Data set 1 (pmerq_1) contains information regarding the age, gender, migration background, and educational status of participants. In addition, responses to the 35 items of the initial translation of the 7-factor ČEFSA scale are included. Data set 2 (pmerq_2) contains identical sociodemographic variables and responses to the 35 items of the revised translation of the 7-factor ČEFSA scale. In addition, data set 2 contains responses to the 20-item German version of the Dissociative Experience Scale (FDS-20), five binary trauma screening questions from the German version of the Posttraumatic Diagnostic Scale for DSM-5 (PDS-5), the 7-item German version of the Gerneralized Anxiety Disorders Screener (GAD-7), the 9-item German version of the Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9), the German version of the Ten-Item Personality Inventory (TIPI-G), the 12-item German version of the DSM-5 Level of Personality Functioning Scale Brief Form (LPFS), the 25-item German version of the Creative Experiences Questionnaire (CEQ), the 6-item German version of the Perth Alexithymia Questionnaire Short Form (PAQ-S), and the 3-item German General Self-Efficacy Short Scale (ASKU).

0 = Student, attending a general full-time school; 1 = Left school without a diploma; 2 = Lower secondary school diploma (Volksschulabschluss) or equivalent qualification; 3 = Polytechnic Secondary School of the GDR, completed 8th or 9th grade; 4 = Intermediate secondary school diploma (Mittlere Reife) or equivalent qualification; 5 = Polytechnic Secondary School of the GDR, completed 10th grade; 6 = University of Applied Sciences entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife); 7 = Abitur / general or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (Gymnasium or EOS)
