资源简介:
Radiosondes launched from R/V Meteor during intense rain exhibited repeated ascent–descent cycles near the freezing level (~5000 m) before ultimately reaching burst altitude. One case began above the freezing level. A plausible explanation is temporary icing on a moistened balloon that melts during descent, though a strong stable layer could also contribute. Similar oscillatory behavior has been reported previously.
