Replication Package for: A Mapping Study of Code Analysis on Smart Contracts in Ethereum

This record contains the replication package for the systematic mapping study “A Mapping Study of Code Analysis on Smart Contracts in Ethereum”. The package supports transparency, auditability, and reproducibility of the study. It includes the Solidity smart contract/code-smell literature dataset, study selection flow diagram, quality assessment protocol, quality assessment evaluation spreadsheet, reverse snowballing records, BibTeX reference file, and supporting materials used during screening, quality assessment, and evidence synthesis. The mapping study examines peer-reviewed Ethereum smart contract code analysis research, with particular attention to static analysis, dynamic analysis, reverse engineering, LLM/ML-assisted analysis, software quality, maintainability, code smells, metrics, design-quality operationalisation, and research gaps in Ethereum smart contract quality assessment. The quality assessment protocol documents the reviewer roles, assessment criteria, scoring procedure, pilot calibration process, threshold rationale, and conflict-resolution process. The reverse snowballing records document additional study discovery and inclusion decisions. The dataset and supporting files are provided to enable independent inspection and replication of the mapping process. This package does not include copyrighted full-text papers from publishers. It contains only metadata, extracted data, assessment records, and original supplementary materials created for the study.
