资源简介:
This study aimed to investigate the impact of mindfulness on social anxiety among college students and to further analyze the mediating effects of self-efficacy and fear of negative evaluation, examining whether these two psychological factors serve as mediators between mindfulness and social anxiety. The study proposed the following hypotheses: mindfulness levels negatively predict social anxiety; self-efficacy and fear of negative evaluation each play independent mediating roles; and they form a chain mediation pathway between mindfulness and social anxiety. Study 1 employed a questionnaire survey method, using self-report scales to explore the interrelationships among mindfulness, social anxiety levels, self-efficacy, and fear of negative evaluation in college student participants (N = 672), as well as the roles of self-efficacy and fear of negative evaluation as mediating variables in the relationship between mindfulness intervention and social anxiety. Study 2 adopted an experimental method, conducting an eight-week mindfulness-based cognitive therapy group intervention for college student participants (N = 92, 46 per group). Participants were recruited online and offline and randomly assigned to either the experimental group, which received online mindfulness-based cognitive group intervention, or the control group, which received no intervention. By comparing and analyzing the data from pre-test, post-test, and follow-up assessments between the experimental and control groups, the study explored the intervention effects and sustained impact of mindfulness-based cognitive intervention on social anxiety in college students.
