THE NEGATIVE IMPACT OF THE GLOBALIZATION ERA ON INDIVIDUAL SPIRITUALITY AND ITS REFLECTION ON SOCIAL LIFE

This article examines the negative impact of the globalization era on individual spirituality and analyzes how this transformation is reflected in social life. In the context of rapid technological advancement, cultural exchange, and economic integration, globalization has significantly altered value systems, often prioritizing material success over spiritual development. The study highlights key issues such as the erosion of traditional spiritual values, the rise of consumerism, and the spread of individualistic attitudes, which collectively weaken moral foundations. As a result, these changes contribute to social challenges including reduced social cohesion, identity crises, and the decline of ethical standards in society. Using a qualitative analytical approach, the article synthesizes existing literature to provide a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between globalization and spirituality. The findings suggest that maintaining a balance between global progress and spiritual preservation is essential for sustainable social development.
