16S rRNA sequencing of mouse caecal microbiota

This 16S rRNA gene sequencing data aims to systematically elucidate how pre-treatment with probiotic lactic acid bacteria alters the microbial community structure in the caecum of mice within an acute systemic inflammatory model induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). By comparing microbial composition and diversity across distinct intervention groups—including normal controls, probiotic controls, inflammation models, probiotic-treated models, and positive drug controls—the study seeks to identify key bacterial taxa specific to probiotic lactic acid bacteria that correlate with anti-inflammatory phenotypes. This provides an ecological basis for elucidating their probiotic mechanisms.
