Current Status of Human Endogenous Virus Annotation (HERV databases)

Raw datasets from the three sources (HERVd, DFAM, and RepBase), along with the family–superfamily mapping table used in our study, have been deposited on Zenodo. These files include IDs, genomic coordinates, and the initial classifications of HERV elements into families. Note that the original databases do not provide associations between the internal portions of HERVs, their LTRs, and superfamilies; these associations were established as described in our previous work.
