资源简介:
The genus Cellulomonas comprises aerobic, Gram-positive, rod-shaped bacteria that are commonly found in soil and aquatic environments. Some species of Cellulomonas are known to exhibit cellulose-degrading activity. Although isolates of this genus have been recovered from human clinical specimens on occasion, such cases are relatively uncommon, and the clinical significance and pathogenic potential of these bacteria remain poorly characterized. In this study, we present the isolation of Cellulomonas sp. GTC20042 from human bile extracted during a clinical procedure. To contribute to the paucity of genomic data available for this genus, we have sequenced and analyzed its genome. Phylogenetic analysis was conducted using both 16S rRNA and whole-genome sequences. Whole-genome sequencing was performed using a hybrid approach, integrating long-read sequencing with Oxford Nanopore Technologies (Tokyo, Japan) and short-read sequencing with the NovaSeq 6000 platform (Illumina, San Diego, CA, USA).
