The analysis is performed to understand the role of Cmpd1 in modulating transcritomic profiles in the inguinal white adipose tissues of ZSF1 rats. Five animals from each of the four groups (ZSF1 lean, ZSF1 obese, ZSF1 obese calorie restrction, ZSF1 obese cmpd1) were selected at random for this analysis. RNA from the inguinal white adipose tissues of these animals was extracted with RNeasy Plus Universal Kits (Qiagen 73404) following the manufacturer’s protocol.
