Corynebacterium macclintockiae, the predominant species of human pathogens within the Corynebacterium jekeium complex.

Corynebacterium jeikeium complex is isolated in clinical settings as a human pathogen. Whole-genome sequencing of these strains reveals Corynebacterium macclintockiae to be the predominant species. In this study, we analyzed the molecular epidemiology and antimicrobial susceptibility of C. macclintockiae in Japan.
