Synthetic bacterium Metagenome. air metagenome

In order to answer the question “whether the AOA and AOB are present in the atmosphere or not?”, if the answer is “yes”, and how about the abundance and ubiquity? We designed an experiment to investigate these interesting questions. PM2.5, gaseous criteria pollutants (NH3 and HNO3) and soil samples were collected in the six cities of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region (Jingjinji urban agglomeration), which are the north political, economic and culture center of China sharing the regional atmospheric pollution. After sampling, the samples were used to 1) analysis the mass concentration, organic carbon (OC)/element carbon (EC) and water-soluble inorganic salt of PM2.5 in Jingjinji urban agglomeration; 2) to investigate the diversity and abundance of AOA and AOB in the urban agglomeration with the molecular approaches including PCR, cloning, sequencing, phylogenetic analysis and qPCR.;
