RNA-seq datasets of OsRDR3 transgenic plants.

Rice transgenic lines over-expressing RDR3 were showing vigrous growth phenotype. Height and tiller number of over-expression lines were increased comapred to wild-type controls. Homology dependent silenced line of RDR3 was extremley sick and did not survive beyond vegetative phase. Overall design: We have performed RNA seq analysis using vegetative tissues of wild type, over-expression and knock-down tansgenic lines. Five weeks old seedlings were considered as vegetative tissues. Libraries were prepared from total RNA isolated from the tissues mentioned.
