Physical Distancing measures of medium sized cities in Brazil during COVID-19 pandemic

Na base de dados é replicada a metodologia desenvolvida pelo Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada (IPEA) do Brasil na elaboração do Índice de Distanciamento Social durante a pandemia de COVID-19, aplicando-o às normas legais de distanciamento social de uma amostra de 49 cidades com mais de 200 mil habitantes distribuídas em treze diferentes estados, incluindo todas as regiões do Brasil, no período de 12 de março de 2020 a 15 de junho de 2020. The database replicates the methodology developed by the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA) of Brazil in the preparation of the Social Distancing Index during the COVID-19 pandemic, applying it to the legal norms of social distancing in a sample of 49 cities with more than 200 thousand inhabitants distributed in thirteen different states, including all regions of Brazil, in the period from March 12, 2020 to June 15, 2020.
