Replication Data for Categories of political contestation in public libraries

This dataset is in support of my article, "Categories of political contestation in public libraries," and is what I used for my open- and -axial coding methods I completed for this project. Each of the 226 cases includes: 1) the year the case of library contestation took place; 2) the specific reason for contestation; 3) the broad category of contestation; 4) library's name; 5) library's city; 6) library's state; 7) news article associated with the case of contestation; and 8) the keyword search term used to find the case.
