Opinions on parenting emasculating men in Belgium 2019, by gender

To be a father today is to be available and present for children. According to data published by Ipsos, 13 percent of Belgian respondents believe that a man who stays at home to look after the children is "less of a man". In other words, although nurturing children is not exclusively for women, different perceptions of parenting are found in Belgium in 2019.Society is responsible for creating an environment in which men and women can live in an equal fashion. Whilst men have ten days of parental leave in Belgium, the prolongation of its length is currently being discussed.
