The Canadian Astronomy Data Centre (CADC) is a database providing astronomical data access and services, which is affiliated with the Government of Canada. This centre is dedicated to collecting, preserving and distributing astronomical data obtained via observations by Canadian astronomers, offering astronomical data resources for research institutions and the general public. CADC is an important component of the astronomical research facilities under the National Research Council Canada (NRC).
