资源简介:
The long-term goal of this project is to develop upper limb rehabilitation interventions that can be utilized for stroke survivors, specifically those with more severe limitations in use of their affected upper limb. In this pilot, randomized clinical trail, 16 stroke survivors with moderate/severe impairments received non-invasive brain stimulation (repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation or rTMS) to one of two targets in the brain in conjunction with upper limb training over 12 visits (2 days/week over 6 weeks). The Primary outcome is upper limb motor impairment (UEFM), and secondary outcomes of functional abilities (WMFT) and patient reported disabilities (SIS-16). The associated neural mechanisms were studied using Transcranial Magnetic stimulation and reported as ipsilateral silent period (ISP Duration). We have attached the excel of raw data for the 16 enrolled participants and separated each group by the type of stimulation received whether it was rTMS stimulation to cPMD or iM1. The Excel includes the above mentioned outcome measures from baseline to post test and it includes baseline demographic factors.
