Klebsiella pneumoniae Genome sequencing and assembly. Klebsiella pneumoniae

We isolated a strain of Klebsiella pneumoniae DY1928 carrying blaNDM-1 from the blood of a neonate suffering from sepsis. We constructed a mouse bloodstream infection model using DY1928 and isolated 11 strains of K. pneumoniae homologous to the target strain from the mouse feces. They were also subjected to whole-genome sequencing to further explore the virulence characteristics and transmission mechanisms of K. pneumoniae DY1928, which caused neonatal sepsis.
