Debella Station - Rubber Vine Eradication

This project will reduce the impact and spread of Rubber Vine on Queensland grazing systems in the Gulf Plains bioregion by undertaking weed control on Debella Station. Up to 100 hectares of dense infestations will be controlled at sites across three small paddocks. On-ground control will support the WoNS Rubber Vine Strategic Plan 2012-2017 and other regional plans, minimise potential damage to off-target species, prevent further spread into waterways, and reduce the impacts on biodiversity, pasture productivity and soil health. Post-project the Funding Recipient will maintain the project gains through implementation of a weed management plan, including follow-up weed control.
