Historical Dataset: Indonesia Mecca Pilgrims Statistics, 1851-2016

This dataset includes historical statistics on the number of Mecca pilgrims recorded by the colonial regime and published by the Dutch authorities until 1940. These statistics are available in the digital historical archive of CBS - Statistics Netherlands. It also includes data on the same topic collected by the Indonesian government and published by BPS - Statistics Indonesia between 1958 and 2016.
