Supplementary material to "High heating rate effects in sintering: A phase-field study of La-doped alumina"

The supplementary material complements the paper with the following: Estimates of the Biot numbers encountered in sintering when heated by convection and radiation. The used materials parameters in the employed precision. Additional graphs based on the data which didn't make it into the paper. The postprocessed data based on which the graphs are created. Videos of the 3D microstructural evolution. The three top parts are provided as both interactive notebooks and static PDFs for ease of viewing. For the analysis notebook, the data must be unzipped. The notebooks should run either following howtorun.txt or creating an environment based on the requirements.txt . The videos are named with a shorthand for the simulation they represent. r[x] refers to simulations with a constant heating rate of x K/s. dem/single distinguish the inhomogeneous/homogeneous temperature models, with _l<x> indicating the thermal scaling factor applied.
