This project investigates the impact of androgen deprivation (castration) on wound microbiota composition and healing outcomes in diabetic (db/db) mice. Using 16S rRNA gene sequencing, we compared the microbial communities in wound tissues between castrated and non-castrated (control) male diabetic mice at multiple time points post-wounding (Day 3, Day 7, and Day 14).
