When it came to online shopping of appliances and electronics, Russians planned mostly planned their online purchases in 2018, with only about 20 percent of such purchases based on impulse. The second most planned shopping category were sporting goods. The most on-impulse-bought products by Russians were books, beauty products, and games. Over 60 percent of attire purchases were planned beforehand.
