Finance: Year-, Month- and State-wise Financial Accommodations Availed by State Governments of India

High Frequency Indicator: The dataset contains year-, month- and state-wise compiled data from the year 2017 to till date on the financial accommodations such as Overdraft (OD), Special Drawing Facilities (SDF), Ways and Means Advances (WMA) which have been availed by state governments

Notes:

1. SDFs are availed by State Governments against the collateral of Consolidated Sinking Fund (CSF), Guarantee Redemption Fund (GRF) & Auction Treasury Bills (ATBs) balances and other investments in government securities.
2. WMAs are advances by Reserve Bank of India to State Governments for meeting temporary cash mismatches.
3.ODs are advances to State Governments beyond their WMA limits.
4.Average amount availed is the total accommodation (SDF/WMA/OD) availed divided by number of days for which accommodation was extended during the month.
