Colletotrichum tofieldiae CBS 130851 genome sequencing and assembly

In this study we sequenced the genome of the Colletotrichum tofieldiae strain CBS 130851 isolated from Semele gayae. Through subsequent genome and transcriptome comparisons of different C. tofieldiae strains with a closely related pathogenic Colletotrichum species, we were searching for genomic signatures associated with the two different lifestyles (mutualistic vs. pathogenic) and investigating their evolutionary relationship.
