Plastome barcodes of Dalbergia odorifera and D. tonkinensis. Dalbergia odorifera; Dalbergia tonkinensis; Dalbergia yunnanensis

The wood characteristics of Dalbergia odorifera are extremely similar to those of D. tonkinensis, making it very difficult to identify the two species using anatomical features of the wood or DNA barcoding based on Sanger Sequencing. This study was focused on the wood products identification of species between D. odorifera and D. tonkinensis through complete chloroplast comparative analysis.
