资源简介:
Following the Methods section of the manuscript: "Going with the flow: leveraging reef-scale hydrodynamics for upscaling larval-based restoration"
Data are organized into subfolders corresponding to the subsections and are further detailed below:
Subsection: Model validation approach and assessment of localized current variability
Data Subfolder: Model_Drifter_Data
Drifter track data as .csv files
Particle track data as .csv files and .json files
Track analysis data as .csv files
Data Subfolder: Model_TiltCurrentmeter_Data
.csv file with current velocity data from the tilt current meter (u_f, v_f) and from the nearest model cell (u_m, v_m)
For all variables, _f corresponds to the tilt current meter, and _m corresponds to the model.
Subsection: Collection phase: predicting coral spawn slicks
Data Subfolder: ModellingSlicks_dsp_RasterData
Raster files data for each spawning simulation with and without surface wind forcing of 3%
The .tiff output of each dispersal simulation was summed in QGIS for each scenario to represent the overall density of particles within the model domain during the 16-hour dispersal timeframe.
Subsection: Larval delivery phase: predicting the residency of particles over damaged reefs
Data Subfolder: ParticlesResidencyOutput_Data
Following the workflow detailed at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.14759539 to extract spatio-temporal data of particles within 1 hectare of delivery sites
Each .csv file shows spatio-temporal data of all the particles that remained within 1 hectare of a specific delivery location at a specific delivery time and day.
Subsection: Larval delivery phase: a posteriori in situ current speed conditions
Data Subfolder: Model_TiltCurrentmeter_Data
Same dataset as in the first subsection, using tilt current meter data.
