Formica exsecta isolate:Colony F162 Genome sequencing and assembly

Here we present a genome sequencing and assembly of the ant Formica exsecta (Formicinae; Hymenoptera), a common antspecies throughout the Palearctic region.Seven Illumina sequencing pair-end library (Lib1 200b, Lib2 500b, Lib3 800b, Lib4 2Kb, Lib5 5Kb, Lib6 10Kb, Lib7 20Kb) were built from the DNA of the haploid males from single F. exsecta colony (F162). These libraries (3 short-insert libraries and 4 long-insert libraries ) made up 100% of our sequencing effort.
