The survey was conducted online and on paper - a mix of methods that had a positive effect on the representativeness of characteristics such as gender and age. A total of 3,232 questionnaires were completed and returned, corresponding to a response rate of 32%. This is a normal value for this type of survey, which enables meaningful results and conclusions to be drawn. The Society and Disability Monitor, which was implemented for the first time in 2016, was conducted on behalf of Pro Infirmis Switzerland. It received considerable financial support from the Federal Office for the Equality of Persons with Disabilities.
