The objectives of this investigation were to assess TCS removal mechanisms in sediments, plant and microbes. Three different species of wetland plants were used, including emergent plant (Cattail), submerged plant (Hornwort) and floating plant (Lemnaminor). This study focused on the removal mechanisms under different species of plants in constructed wetlands, and can provided useful information for the design of constructed wetlands to promote TCS degradation.
