Hilly and mountainous farmland time-series SAR and ground quadrat dataset

Data Editor in Chief: Wu Shangrong The time-series SAR and ground sample dataset of farmland in hilly and mountainous areas, with Hengyang City, Hunan Province, China as the research area, mainly includes: Sentinel-1A dual polarized SAR remote sensing image data of 26 scenes in 13 periods from December 2021 to April 2022, 74 rapeseed sample points and 4 sample plot vector data measured on the ground on January 13, 2022, vector boundaries of the research area, field experimental photos, SAR image preprocessing tutorials and example data, statistical data of oil crop sowing area in various counties of Hengyang City from 2020 to 2022 (data source: Hunan Provincial Bureau of Statistics), as well as optical remote sensing images of Gaofen-1, Gaofen-2, Gaofen-6, and Sentinel-2 obtained through visual interpretation in March 2022. It contains 2490 visual sample points and 6 visual sample plots vector data of different land types. The purpose of this dataset is to construct a target dataset for agricultural remote sensing monitoring, land feature recognition and classification, and to promote the application of SAR remote sensing in the field of agriculture.
