16S rRNA sequencing of mouse intestinal microbiome

Fecal DNA was extracted, and the concentration and purity of DNA were detected. DNA integrity was detected by 1% agarose gel electrophoresis. The V3-V4 hypervariable region of the bacterial 16S rRNA gene was amplified by PCR using the extracted DNA as a template. The PCR product was recovered and purified on 2% agarose gel, and then quantified using a fluorescence meter. The purified PCR products were constructed and sequenced on the platform.
