Genomic DNA was extracted from tumor and non-tumor liver tissues using QIAamp Fast DNA tissue kit (QIAGEN) according to manufacturer’s protocol. DNA was quantified by the Qubit 3.0 (Invitrogen) and NanoDrop 2000 (Thermo Scientific). WES libraries were prepared and captured using the QuarPrep EZ DNA Library Kit and QuarHyb Reagent kit (DynastyGene Biotechnologies) following the manufacturer’s instructions. The DNA library with 150 bp paired-end reads was sequenced with Illumina NovaSeq 6000 System. WES was conducted with a mean coverage depth of 205X (range: 90-300X) for tumor samples and 97X (range: 47-162X) for adjacent non-tumor liver samples.
