16s rRNA and 18s rRNA sequencing

Soil microorganisms are essential for the long-term sustainability of agricultural ecosystems. However, continuous replanting of grapevine can disrupt the balance of the soil microbial community structure. Here, we comparatively investigated the bacterial and fungal abundance, diversity, and community composition in rhizosphere soils with continuous replanting of grapevine for 5, 6, and 7 years (short term) and for 20 years (long term) using high-throughput sequencing.
