OATS_201411 Highlighting Keyboard Study 2

Older Adults Text-entry Studies (OATS): Our goal was to capture participants’ typing behaviour during input in a lab setting and determine the efficiency of the highlighting keyboard error support mechanism. In this experiment we introduced a new type of input task, designed to overcome the problem of participants typing in very carefully (i.e. the “chat” task). The “chat” task was initially piloted with a few researchers within our university.
