Replication Data for: The fewer predefined parameters, the better? A comparative analysis of urban delineation methods using building footprint data in the Netherlands.

This repository contains the code and data needed to replicate the analysis in our paper <i>"The fewer predefined parameters, the better? A comparative analysis of urban delineation methods using building footprint data in the Netherlands"</i>. All code is organized in computational notebooks, arranged sequentially in the <code>code</code> folder. The analysis relies on the open-source <a href="https://eubucco.com/">EUBUCCO</a> building database to construct urban delineations in the Netherlands, and the official urban definition of <a href="https://www.cbs.nl/en-gb/">Statistics Netherlands</a> (DUAs) is employed as benchmark. Other data sets needed to reproduce the analyses are included in the <code>data</code> folder. For further details, please refer to the enclosed <code>README</code> file and the original publication.
