Bone marrow is an extremely important organ as a primary hematopoietic organ where new red blood cells and immune cells are produced. Parasitic infections showed disruption of red blood cell production and changes in immune responses in bone marrow. Therefore, we generated single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data to reveal transcriptomic profile changes to parasitic infection by trypanosomes. These data will ultimately help us understand the mechanisms of the host immune response to trypanosomosis. Bone marrow cells in femur were harvested from 3 non-infected mice and 3 trypanosome-infected mice for scRNA-seq analysis.
