Genomes of three root-associated bacteria from tepary bean (Phaseolus acutifolius A. Gray) grown under arid agriculture conditions

This project describes the genome sequencing of bacterial isolates recovered from roots of tepary bean (Phaseolus acutifolius A. Gray) grown under field conditions in arid agriculture systems in Arizona. The genomes were generated to support studies of plant-associated microbes with potential functional traits relevant to plant growth and stress resilience under water-limited conditions. These data provide genomic resources for understanding root-associated bacteria in arid environments and support comparative analyses of plant-microbe interactions.
