During two experimental years, indices of meteorological conditions (air temperature and precipitation) during the experimental periods and soil carbon and nitrogen contents and properties. More importantly, the fluxes of soil nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide from two croplands with different carbon availability were included. The abundance of the marker genes of soil nitrification and denitrification in soil during the growing season and the waterlogging period were also measured. The results of the gross nitrification and mineralization of two croplands were determined with laboratory 15N tracing experiment. In addition, we compiled data of nitrous oxide emissions from the black soils of the studied region.
