资源简介:

Data are provided for the week prior to the survey. Comprehensive data are available on the employment status, occupation, and industry of persons 15 years old and over. Also shown are personal characteristics such as age, sex, race, marital status, veteran status, household relationship, educational background, and Spanish origin. The language spoken at home supplement was asked of all persons age 5 years and over to show which languages are spoken more often and the percent of the population that speaks each language. The immigration questions were asked of all household members. The purpose of the collection of data on immigration is to improve the quality of estimates of the foreign-born population and to improve the projections of the U.S. population in future years that are necessary for adequate housing, recreation, education facilities, and other services. The emigration screening items were asked to determine if any household member has relatives living abroad.
