Story of the Owl, told by Chow Kyen Gohain to Dr. Banchob Bandhumedha. This was recorded on a small reel-to-reel tape in about 1970 by Dr. Banchob at Pawaimukh village. The tape was a Magnetophonband BASF tape (Red Cover) Typ LGS 26 - No 3. It was digitized by Jürgen Schöpf at the Phonogrammarchiv in Vienna, and cut by Stephen Morey. Julia Miller of the PARADISEC archive (https://catalog.paradisec.org.au/) created a video version with a photo of Dr. Banchob and the original sound so that this file could be uploaded to YouTube. .
