Processed source data for “Long-term acoustic and visual trends in Taiwanese white dolphin occurrence during offshore wind development” Dataset overview This repository contains processed source data underlying the five main figures of the manuscript “Long-term acoustic and visual trends in Taiwanese white dolphin occurrence during offshore wind development.” The study integrates passive acoustic monitoring at the fixed P5 station near the Formosa 1–2 offshore wind-farm region in Miaoli, Taiwan, with seasonal boat-based visual surveys of the critically endangered Taiwanese white dolphin (Sousa chinensis taiwanensis). The release includes: 27,445 valid hourly passive-acoustic-monitoring records from 2017–2022; category-level whistle-activity summaries used in Fig. 2; 48 monthly visual-survey observations from April–September, 2016–2023; annual acoustic–visual summary data used in Fig. 4; and the hourly feature table, XGBoost predictions, and SHAP feature contributions used in Fig. 5.
