资源简介:
Yellow lupin (Lupinus luteus L.), as a member of the Fabaceae family, has a high cultivation potential resulting from its ability to fix atmospheric nitrogen via symbiotic bacteria and high content of storage proteins in seeds. However, in this species premature and excessive flower abscission occurs, which significantly reduces yield. Among the hypotheses explaining this undesirable phenomenon, the most important seem to be insufficient pollination or differential action of phytohormones. Among the generative organs, the development of anthers is the most sensitive to various stress factors, and their late development is mainly regulated by jasmonates (JAs). Therefore, the main goal was to investigate the JA-dependent regulation of post-meiotic anther development in yellow lupin by identifying differentially expressed genes between control variants and those after the application of JA or mefenamic acid (MEF, JA biosynthesis inhibitor).
