Production of electricity in Portugal 2023, by source

Portugal generated approximately 13 terawatt-hours of electricity from wind power plants in 2023. This was the country's main source of electricity production that year. When combined, renewables accounted for more than 31 terawatt-hours worth of electricity generation, compared to roughly 10 terawatt-hours of electricity generated from fossil fuels.
