资源简介:
Coastal communities are increasingly vulnerable to climate-driven impacts, such as sea level rise and coastal erosion. To address these risks in the Puget Sound region of Washington State, Washington Sea Grant and Coastal Geologic Services (CGS) are leading a sea level rise (SLR) vulnerability assessment for use by coastal managers, decision-makers and restoration practitioners. In support of this effort, researchers at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS) partnered with Washington Sea Grant and CGS, with support from the Puget Sound Partnership, to develop a complementary social vulnerability assessment for communities within the Puget Sound region. 2022 Contract no.
