Current reproductive effort shapes the response to infection in a passerine bird

This paper investigates how the response to a mimicked infection differ between female blue tits with different brood sizes and its consequences for reproductive investment. <br>Data collection: FA, AN and JÅN conceived the ideas and designed methodology together with AH; FA, AN and JÅN collected the data; AH analyzed haptoglobin concentrations; FA analysed the data and wrote the initial draft of the manuscript; all authors revised and wrote the final draft.
